Congratulations, Taylor Petten!
Every year the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) hold a National Scholarship Program. This year, participants had to write a 1000 word essay describing new ways grocers can resonate with consumers to better connect with, and get more shoppers into their stores by referencing the following statement:
“In order to evolve in today’s competitive retail landscape, grocers have to understand what their consumers want before they desire it.”
Taylor Petten, daughter of former Atlantic Grocery Distributors Buyer Cyndi Petten, recently learned she had won in the High School category and will receive a $2000 Scholarship towards her education. Taylor has been accepted into MUN’s Faculty of Engineering for Fall 2016.
Congratulations from all Atlantic Grocery Distributors Management and Staff, and we wish her all the best in her Academic Studies.
