Heart and Stroke Big Bike

Atlantic Grocery Distributors (AGD) has been a long supporter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Newfoundland and Labrador. We were excited to once again participate in their Heart and Stroke Big Bike Ride!

It’s a team fundraising event to support heart disease and stroke research, and it truly is a “big bike!” There are 30 seats, and you pedal your way through your community for 2 kms. We pedaled our way through Bay Roberts, starting at Atlantic Grocery Distributors and turning around at Powell’s Supermarket, singing and chanting the entire time! It was an exciting ride and at the end of the day, you’re helping more heart disease and stroke survivors go home to their families… and that’s really something to get excited about!
